Confusion between the two options, it's a common problem that every student faced during preparation or while taking the GMAT test. 1. Identify the concept of Sentence Construction that is asked in the question.
 GMAT Sentence Correction questions commonly include errors that are based on meaning and certain grammar topics. The basic concept included in these sections are:                                                            
  •      Pronoun Reference and Agreement Errors
  •      Verb Tense Errors
  •      Modifier Errors
  •      Parallelism Errors
  •      Idiom Errors 
So, identify the concepts first while solving GMAT sentence correction questions so that you can apply your particular knowledge to choose the right option.

2. Look for subject-verb mismatches.
Subject Verb Agreement is one of the easiest errors to identify and this type of question never went wrong at least 1 option can be eliminated in an easy way. So look for these first.

3. Treat options A,B,C,D,E equally.
You can't avoid options in the exam. Even if you are getting the right option at first glance, look for the rest of the options one more time. Don’t be so fast to choose the answer. 

4. Try to get clues from the non-underlined part of the sentence.
Read the whole question before choosing the options. Often, the non-underlined part of the sentence which most of the students usually ignore can give you vital clues about tenses, lists, modifiers and meaning that will help you eliminate 1-2 answer choices. So never ignore this part.

  And even after this, if you are stuck between the last 2 answer options so, you have already spent 90 seconds on the question, choose the one according to your instincts and move on!
