The GRE (Graduate Record Exam) Test is a standardised test used to fetch admissions into various graduate schools or business graduate schools in various countries. More than 100,000 graduate school applicants from approximately 160 countries take the GRE General Test at 700 test centres across the globe. Aspirants who are interested in pursuing a master's degree, specialised master's course, MS, MBA, MEM or doctoral degree can sit for the GRE Test. GRE Test Dates: The computer-based GRE Test is conducted year-round at Prometric test centres. You can take the GRE Test once after every 21 days, up to five times within a 12-month period. However, you need to first create a ‘My GRE Account’ in order to register for a specific date.
GRE Score: When the results arrive, three scores are reported: Verbal Reasoning on a scale of 130–170 scores, with -point increments; Quantitative Reasoning also on a scale of 130–170 scores with 1-point increment and Analytical Writing on a scale of 0–6 scores, in half-point increments. Official scores are mailed within 10–15 days after your test date. GRE scores are valid for the next 5 years. One can request for a re-score up to 3 months after your test date.
