I had decided what I wanted to do after the school. I had a very keen interest in engineering
and therefore without a doubt decided to pursue my career in engineering only. I started
preparations just after the high school to make sure that I get admission into any one of the
most prestigious engineering colleges of the country. The two years of preparations have
exhausted me completely and I doubt that I could have worked any harder. I had seen
sleepless nights dedicated to studying. I have seen myself tangled with the doubts for hours
and hours. I have seen myself stuck at the same point for over and over again. I almost gave
up everything else just to make sure that I do not leave any stone unturned to get into these
institutions.

It doesn’t mean that I turned into a bookworm. I would have my fair share of
sports and entertainment but I made sure that I would do that after finishing the target for the
day. There would be days when my parents would forcibly take me out with them to enjoy a
little. No,   am not that geeky but I am highly passionate. I knew that hard work now would
mean a relaxed and bright future forever. So as I have wanted, I got into the institution of my
choice with the branch as per my wish as well. My hard work finally paid off and now I had all
the time in the world to enjoy a little more and study a little less.

College was great. It had the best in class professors and lecturers, highly modernised and
well-equipped labs and a great library. The entire college in itself was a treat to live and study
from. Besides the academics, there were courts and playgrounds for almost every sport
separately. There were big auditoriums and what not. It was just the perfect environment to
study and flourish. I really liked it there. I studied quite well and really aced in almost every
subject. I was growing fonder and fonder of my stream day by day. I started enjoying reading
about the stuff more and more with every passing day. It was then that I decided to get a
master’s degree from the field as well. But I wasn’t sure which institution would be the best
for the same. I did a little research online with the help of the google and got my answer
almost immediately.

It was a foreign university best known for the field. The next thing I searched was the
admission procedure and the most convenient way was just to ace the graduate record exam
or GRE as we all better know it. I had cracked a difficult exam so it wouldn’t have been
difficult for me to crack the GRE as well. The only problem was that it would require a lot of
dedication and hard work all over again. And I was not willing to give up what I was studying
and start preparing for GRE all over again. So I thought that I would  take help from any of
the GRE classes in Pune itself. The problem was that every  GRE coaching in Pune was
claiming that they are the best and very even claiming a cent per cent record. I was smart
enough to know that this is a marketing strategy and therefore did not fall into their trap.
Instead, I looked up for the same online.
